Join us for a summer of music, creativity, and connecting with new/old friends!  Programs for preschoolers-teens, including summer music therapy programs for students with disabilities.  Scroll through to learn more and enroll!

Kids Bells

SUMMER A.B.C. Play!

Ages 2.9-5

Join us for a summer of music and art!  Each week we will explore fun summer themes through music, art, movement, and camp games!

Wednesdays, 9:30-11:30am

Session 1: July 7, 14, 21, 28

Session 2: August 4, 11, 18, 25

Cost: $175 per session

Get creative with us this summer as we explore music and art through fun-themed days and hands-on activities.   Each week children will take part in:

  • ART CLASS (painting, drawing, messy art, etc.)
  • MUSIC CLASS (sing, dance, play instruments, etc.)
  • CAMP GAMES (water balloons, races, cooperative games)
  • SNACK (please send snack and water each day)

Please send children with water bottle, snack, and beach towel.  Most of the group takes place in our air-conditioned studios, but we will begin each morning with an outdoor game as weather allows.

CREATIVE ARTS WELLNESS CAMP WEEK

Full-Day Summer Camp for Grades 1-5

CAMP IS FULL!

AGES: Entering Grades 1-5

TIME: Monday-Friday: 9am-2pm (drop-off starts at 8:45)

DATES: 7/19/21-7/23/21

In this unique camp, the focus is on creativity, wellness, and a whole lot of fun!  Campers will try out lots of percussion instruments in our daily drum circle, work together on group songwriting projects, learn ukulele, and play musical games.  The fun will continue with painting, crafts, and other multimedia art.  And of course there will be time for summer camp games (water balloons, relay races, outdoor games)!  

Absolutely no experience necessary, as our team of music therapists and teachers break down each activity so that everyone can successfully participate regardless of musical ability.   

The group will take place in both our air-conditioned center, as well as outdoors under our summer studio tents.

PRIVATE MUSIC LESSONS

(Virtual or In-Person)

AGES: 5-Adults

TIME: TBD based on student/teacher availability

COST: varies depending on lesson-package chosen

Summer is the perfect time to learn a new instrument!   Our 6-8 week lesson packages allow the flexibility to fit in lessons between summer vacation plans!  Private lessons are 30, 45, or 60-minutes in length.  Our summer duets allow friends/siblings of similar playing level to have fun making music together, while sharing the cost of the lesson slot (maximum of 2 people per lesson).  All students will need to have an instrument to practice on.  Choose from:

  • Voice
  • Piano
  • Guitar
  • Ukulele
  • Flute

SUMMER MUSIC THERAPY

For autistic students, neurodiverse students, and students with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

AGES: Entering 9th Grade - Age 22

TIME:  Tuesdays, 4:00-5:00pm

SESSION 1:  July 6, 13, 20, 27

SESSION 2: August 3, 17, 24, 31 (no group 8/10)

COST: $99 per session

This teen music drum group will focus on social connections, self expression, and creating music together. We will explore various types of music as we create, engage and play in a group setting through drumming, sharing music, singing familiar songs, making music selections, exploring lyrics, songwriting, and improvising together. No experience required. Come share your love of music!  No previous experience necessary. This is an in-person group!  Space is limited.

GIRLS MUSIC SUMMER SOCIAL GROUP

For autistic and neurodiverse girls looking to have fun and make friends this summer!

AGES: Entering Grades 5-8

TIME:  Thursdays, 4:00-5:00pm

SESSION 1:  July 8, 15, 22, 29

SESSION 2: August 5, 12, 19, 26

COST: $99 per session

Facilitated by a board-certified music therapist, the focus will be on FUN and MAKING FRIENDS, while building up social skills.  The music therapist will create a supportive and FUN environment where girls can be themselves while sharing favorite music, singing, talking, and even take part in some guided song-writing or creative arts projects.  The group will help girls identify emotional supports, positive outlets of expression, navigate social situations, and most importantly, build connections and friendships.  No previous music experience necessary!

TIME:  Fridays, 9:15-10:15am

AGES: Grades 3-5

TIME:  Fridays, 10:30-11:30am

SESSION 1:  July 9, 16, 23, 30

SESSION 2: August 6, 13, 20, 27

COST: $99 per session

Facilitated by a board-certified music therapist, the focus will be on FUN and MAKING FRIENDS.  The music therapist will create a supportive and FUN environment where kids will sing, play instruments, listen to favorite music, and move!  Activities will focus on fostering social connections, working together as a group, and self expression.  No previous music experience necessary!

PRIVATE MUSIC THERAPY

Early Intervention to High School Age

AGES: Early Intervention to High School

TIME: TBD based on client/therapist availability

COST: varies with service package chosen 

Bridge the gap between June and September with a fun and motivating approach to skill building. Our music therapy summer session package is perfect for children who may receive fewer services in the summer or for anyone who has always wanted to “try” music therapy. Music therapists will work with your child on global skill building to help children maintain skills gained/learned during the school year. Target areas may include following directives/the group plan, expressive and receptive communication skills, emotional/sensory regulation, or IEP goals. Music interventions may include, but are not limited to, singing, playing instruments, music and movement, guided listening, songwriting, and improvisation.  NO PREVIOUS MUSIC EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.

6-8 week service packages available include…

  • 6-8 individual music therapy sessions
  • Written progress summary at conclusion of services
