I am an artist and art therapist who loves sharing my passion for creativity with others. I hold a M.A. in Art Therapy and Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University, as well as a BFA in Graphic Design. As an art therapist, I have worked with young adults who have special needs, older adults and individuals living with dementia.
I became interested in art at an early age, which led me to explore various artistic mediums and techniques, such as ceramics, painting, mixed-media and printmaking. I enjoy not only teaching the technical aspects of art but witnessing the unique directions students and clients take their individual artwork through the creative process. I believe art should be fun, exploratory and expressive and I strive to make art accessible to all, no matter one’s age or ability.
Along with art, some of my favorite hobbies include hiking, exploring New England, yoga, crafting, baking and gardening. I am excited to be part of such a dedicated and passionate team!
