After studying flute performance, I received my bachelor’s degree in music from Smith College in 2014. There, I took part in musical ensembles such as orchestra, wind ensemble, jazz band, flute quartet, chorus, and glee club. After obtaining my bachelor’s degree in music, I received my master’s degree in special education from Fitchburg State University while working as a direct support professional for adults with disabilities. I then worked as a music teacher and a preschool teacher at Broad Horizons Preschool in Quincy. After working in Quincy, I became the music teacher at Norwood Montessori School where I taught music curriculum as well as private instrument lessons for students, ages 4-18, on instruments such as guitar, ukulele, piano, flute, and vocals. I currently work as the music teacher at St. Paul’s School in Hingham, where I enjoy providing a musical curriculum for students in grades preK-8. I am excited to join the amazing team of music therapists at Sing Explore Create and to bring my unique set of skills and experiences to students of the south shore!
