Shannon Mountford (she/her)

I am a music therapist from Shirley, Massachusetts. I received my bachelor’s degree from Berklee College of Music in music therapy with a minor in psychology. I then completed my ten-month internship at Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown, MA.

Throughout my academic years, I have been provided with opportunities to work with multiple settings including early intervention, adults and children with intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental health, hospice, and school-aged children with visual impairment.

I love to perform with my Billy Joel – Elton John cover band and at open mics. When I am not making music, I enjoy being outside, crocheting, watching movies, skiing, and baking. I am so excited to start my journey at Sing Explore Create!
