Madilynn Grenier, MT-BC (she/her)

(Music Therapist)

I am a Board Certified Music Therapist from Cumberland, RI.  I received my Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy, as well as my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, from Immaculata University, where I am currently enrolled as a graduate student pursuing a dual MA in Music Therapy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have worked with individuals in many different populations across the lifespan, and during my internship specialized in music therapy services in clinical mental health with a focus on music therapy and DBT treatment with Substance Use Disorder.

As a therapist I practice from a humanistic and person-centered lens, and lean heavily into psycho-educative resources when appropriate. One of my main goals when working with clients is to create and maintain a safe therapeutic space for individuals to reflect, grow and explore in.  I am passionate about bringing music technology and production software into music therapy sessions and empowering clients to create their own music while working on their goals.

Outside of work, you can expect to find me experimenting with music production and projects of my own, crocheting/knitting one of my ongoing projects, curled up reading a good book with my dog at home, trying out new recipes, or exploring new places out in the world!
