I received my bachelor's degree in music therapy from Western Michigan University and have been a board certified music therapist since 2021. I grew up in Michigan, and in 2025 relocated to Massachusetts to join the fantastic team at SEC.
Outside of my love for music therapy, I enjoy running, camping, and all things outdoors, discovering local farmer’s markets, and making music with my friends. To wind down, I love trying new recipes, baking sourdough bread, and reading a good book.
In my work, I am thrilled to continue creating connection, fostering self-expression, and exploring music with the SEC community. Before SEC, I worked for a very similar organization on an interdisciplinary team of creative arts therapists, providing music therapy for kids and young adults with a wide range of ability. I am passionate about empowering people through music to maximize their capabilities, and experience authentic joy! I have already felt a sense of belonging at SEC, and I hope to provide that space for the people I serve.
